Preschool Program
Children in this program are typically 3 to 5 years old.
Our ratio for 3 to 4.5 years is 1 staff to 8 children.
Our ratio for 4.5 to 6 years is 1 staff to 10 children.
Field Trips
The childrens interests inspire the field trips that our staff organize. Trips can be both walking or bused depending on location. Parent participation is strongly encouraged, and we look forward to these outings! In the past we have visited places including the police station, fire station, the local museum, and the water park.
Preschoolers with Exceptionalities
Arrangements can be made for including children with special needs in our program. Staff are fully trained and experienced and these programs have been very successful. We use a team approach to support all children in our child care center. For more information contact our Director.
Program Planning
We utilize the Ages and Stages questionnaires to help teachers customize their programming to support each child's development. We focus on communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, and personal-social areas of development. The children's interests guide activities that the staff incorporate into their program planning. We also encourage parents and children to share their cultural or religious traditions that they may want to have included in the programming.
